ROOM.C MEDIA UK ↔ JAPAN

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do you guarantee coverage?

No. Journalists and publications retain full editorial control. Room.C sells professional PR work, not articles.

How early should we get in touch?

For a standard single campaign, around four to six weeks before release is a useful starting point. Larger projects may need longer.

What information goes into a Room.C press release?

Enough for a journalist to understand both the announcement and the artist without starting a separate research project. Alongside the release itself, Room.C looks for the relevant artist background, career context, previous international activity, useful milestones, credits, dates, and the reason the announcement matters now. The exact mix depends on the story.

Can you translate Japanese materials into English?

Yes. JP → EN translation and localisation is a core service for press releases, biographies, release notes, interviews, websites, captions, and other music-industry material.

Can you produce bilingual interviews or pages?

Yes. Where a project needs both languages, Room.C can prepare parallel English/Japanese copy for integrated bilingual presentation rather than treating one language as an afterthought.

Can you translate English into Japanese?

Yes, on request. EN → JP is not the primary language service, and final commercial Japanese copy is scoped to include native Japanese-language review before delivery.

Can we contact Room.C in Japanese?

Japanese-language enquiries are welcome. If a project requires native-level Japanese communication throughout, Room.C will identify and scope the appropriate language support before work begins.

Does translation mean a literal version of the original?

No. The aim is to preserve meaning while producing natural, useful copy for the new audience and context.

Which territories can you target?

The launch focus is English-speaking media. Targeting is agreed project by project based on the artist, genre, story, and markets that can be researched and pitched credibly.

Do you provide photography and video?

Yes, where visual production supports the project. This can include press photography, live/backstage coverage, short-form video, and interview or EPK-focused filming.

Do you maintain a journalist mailing list?

Room.C maintains a professional media database and an opt-in media list so journalists can tell us which genres and opportunities are relevant to their work.
